Polly for MODO
Polly contains new MeshOps and Channel Modifiers to give you even more flexibility when manipulating models in MODO. It is available for MODO versions 15 and above on PC Windows (tested on Windows 10), Linux (built for Ubuntu 18) and Mac (tested on Big Sur).
- Radial Align a procedural version of the direct modelling Radial Align tool
- Linear Align a procedural version of the direct modelling Linear Align tool
- Make Polygons is a procedural version of the direct modelling "p" command
- Make Spherical, Cylindrical, Cubic conform the selection to the given shapes
- Arrays to Polygons create new geometry from array data (positions and faces)
- Arrays to VMAP create a vertex map from array data
- ChannelRemap rescale numeric values from one range to another (with gradient)
- ChannelBundle and ChannelUnbundle pack and unpack channels
- ChannelDistribute copies a value to multiple output channels
Version 1.1 introduces Action Transform which gives similar functionality to action-centre local in direct modelling. In version 1.1, linear and radial transform are controllable via falloffs, and radial transform has a new mode "N-Sided" to create polygonal shapes.
Version 1.2 adds Make Spherical, Make Cylindrical, Make Cubic and Channel Distribute.
Version 1.2.1 enhances Radial align and Make* meshops.
Version 1.2.2 improves to Make Polygons.
Version 1.3.0 adds the Centre and Move meshop.
Version 1.4.0 adds the Enforcer and Trailer meshops.
Version 1.5.0 adds Colour Ramp and Array to Shapes. Trailer enhanced.
